A significant scale cannabis farm with hundreds of plants has been uncovered at a mill in Rossendale.
The discovery was created by an off-duty police officer at the Isle of Man Mill on Burnley Road East in Water.
Officers located much more than 700 plants spread across two floors soon after gaining entry to the constructing yesterday afternoon (September 1).
The electrical energy meter is understood to have been bypassed.
Lancashire Police mentioned it was a ‘large scale cannabis set up’ and is in the approach of becoming dismantled.
No arrests have been created.
B&E Boys, who are understood to personal the constructing, had been unavailable for comment when contacted by LancsLive.
A police spokesperson mentioned: “An off-duty police officer came across the cannabis set up on Burnley Road East at 12.50pm yesterday.
“It is a significant scale cannabis set-up with more than 700 plants.
“No arrests have been created and enquiries are ongoing.”
